Raft and Brew Upper Clackamas River

Summary: This was our first trip to Oregon. The rafting trip was so much fun, a beautiful river, well organized, and Caleb,,our guide, was great!

Summary: We booked a last minute rafting full day trip and could not have had more fun. The team and our guide Michael were wonderful to spend the day with. The food at lunch was superb. Rapids were manageable but still offered a challenge. Would go again in a heartbeat.

Summary: This is a top notch outfitter - they have thought of everything from safety to comfort to excellent customer service. We were met with a full array of gear (wet suits, dry jackets, booties) which was great because the water was COLD in the morning. Had a good safety overview and then we were off for a great 4.5 hour whitewater raft tour. Our guide, who happened to be the owner's son, was just incredible. Friendly, funny, competent, safe and a pleasure to spend the day with. Our guide made each rapid a new and fun adventure and was really keen to our abilities and compensated for anything we lacked. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a fun days adventure. The only disappointment I had was that they charged for photos at the end, which, after paying quite a bit for the trip, would have been really nice to just have had as a souvenir. I didn't bring a waterproof camera because I made the (wrong) assumption that a photo would be provided at the end.

Summary: Our favorite place to go and get away from the city life. We had to admit this was an awesome level 3 experience with great vibes. We will totally recommend this for all our family’s and friends. Thank you guys see you soon!! 🤟🏽

Summary: We didn't do the brewery tour but the rafting trip down the Santiam RIver was awesome. Jordan our guide was fabulous even though he hadn't been on the river but for a few months. The jump off the cliff at the end was awesome also. I would highly recommend this trip.

Summary: Perfect family friendly activity! Did the float tour with two children (ages 5 and 11) and both had a great time! Originally sold out, Chris promptly arranged a trip for us. Very well organized and our guide Calvin was amazing! Shortly after our trip we received great pictures of our family on the raft. A must do family activity only 30 minutes from Portland. Do it!

Summary: Just went rafting with NWA and loved it! Chris and Max and Calvin are awesome guides, with tons of knowledge about the area. And finishing the trip at Bent Shovel Brewery, a unique beer garden in the middle of the forest, was a super way to finish the trip, make some memories and cement some friendships with this outfit. The trip is close enough to Portland to fit the whole day easily into our schedule. Highly recommend!

Summary: I've had the fortune to run several river trips with Chris, the owner, mostly on the Clackamas, but the Santiam, Sandy and other runs too. Chris is just an outstanding guide and person, just fun to be around, loves the river, and the crew I've met follow his example. Safe, fun, awesome. The McIver to Barton run is super nice, and having a pint of Bent Shovel brew right after take-out, so perfect, the woods with some beer and some rafting friends. Great times. (I'd also suggest, try rafting in the spring when the water is higher, super fun rain or shine. Chris and crew will gear you up and hit bigger waves.)
